Designed by Karl Shinkel at the beginning of XIX century the Limekiln “Łaskawy Kamień” is an antique oven for firing limewash in Stara Morawa. It is located by the wayside between Stara Morawa and Kletno. The destroyed limekiln in 1978 was purchased by the family of prof Jacek Rybczyński who renewed and made it useful not only for its owners but tourists too. Underground the owen we find an artist run gallery by Rybczyński Family, an art printing studio and a paper mill.
Now, the inside of the limekiln constitute spiral stairs leading to second last storey where you can meet the lesser horseshoe bats. There was built the observatory too for the purpose of preserving the breeding habitats of these animals. The area surrounding the limekiln holds the garden in which there are spread various fragments of sculptures survived from neighbouring courts and parks as well as a tiny japanese garden with red wooden gate, a bridge and interestingly placed rocks and stones.
